Narrow wheelbase and increased tilt options with easy adjustability
Stability is a strong feature of the Rea Dahlia, delivering exceptional safety and confidence for the client with our unique DSS (Dual Stability System) built into every wheelchair. When tilting and reclining, the seating system moves forward along the frame. This weight shifting guarantees exceptional stability, even when in full tilt and recline. Additionally, the Rea Dahlia’s pivot points match the person’s natural pivot points for synchronised movement between the body and wheelchair, reducing the risk of sheer pressure.
Wide range of options
In addition to the multiple adjustments in the chair, the Invacare Rea Dahlia tilt-in-space wheelchair boasts many options and accessories, guaranteeing a solution for a wide range of postural challenges.
Seat tilt and Backrest recline
The Invacare Rea Dahlia tilt-in-space wheelchair features 30° or 45° of seat tilt and 30° of backrest recline supporting a range of positions. The unique construction of the tilt and recline mechanism delivers smooth and light action, ideal for smaller carers.
Outrigged Pivot Joint
Enables the pivot points of the backrest to be adjusted wider by 50mm overall, creating more seat space. A wider backrest is fitted, ideal for those requiring additional support.
Adjustable centre of gravity
The rear wheel position can be adjusted to increase the lightness and manoeuvrability of the Invacare Rea Dahlia tilt-in-space wheelchair. It also allows access to self-propel wheels for increased independence. Transit wheels are available for attendant propulsion.
Comfortable propelling and compact frame
The rear wheels are closer to the user’s body, increasing comfort and enabling the Dahlia to be easily propelled.
Excellence in manoeuvrability
The Invacare Rea Dahlia tilt-in-space wheelchair can be easily propelled with minimum effort as the rear wheels can be moved forward and closer to the arm of the user.
Individualised seat height adjustment
Low seat to floor height gives the user the possibility to foot propel. Invacare Rea Dahlia tilt-in-space wheelchair brinks a large range of adjustments from 325 to 505 mm to meet user requirements.
Light tilt movement
The carer can tilt easily with minimum effort. The Invacare Rea Dahlia 45 tilt-in-space wheelchair includes a push-up spring making it easier for the chair to come up from a tilted position.
The Invacare Rea Dahlia 45 tilt-in-space wheelchair allows a 45° tilt angle to deliver excellent pressure relief properties for patients who cannot use the recline to weight shift.
