The Avantgarde XXL2 gives outstanding stability and easy operation with a timeless design. The strengths of the Avantgarde XXL2 are the robust base structure which offers reliability in any situation. At the same time, the use of high-quality materials keeps the chair’s weight as low as possible at approx. 17kg.
This wheelchair is designed for people with the need for a heavy-duty chair. The quality and functionality of the Avantgarde XXL2 make this chair the most stable folding wheelchair that can hold a maximum weight limit of 180kg and a seat width of 62cm.
Back stabiliser
The back stabiliser is recommended for large seat widths in particular. It can be released on one side and swung away for folding.
Drum brakes for attendant control
The drum brake for attendants allows the attending person to secure the wheelchair from rolling away when required or brake while driving downhill.
Knee lever wheel lock
The proven, sturdy knee lever wheel lock requires little activation force and reliably prevents the wheelchair from rolling away unintentionally.
Individual side panels
The side panels with an asymmetrical armrest are used when only single-point forearm support is desired.
Transport wheels
The transport wheels serve to negotiate narrow passages, such as elevator or bathroom doors, with the drive wheels removed.
Anti-tipper
The anti-tipper is spring-loaded and features an extremely sturdy design. It reliably prevents the wheelchair from tipping over backwards and can be swung away comfortably with foot operation.
Aluminium footplates
The segmented aluminium footplates are centrally locked for use, further enhancing the stability of the front frame.
Swivel segments
The offset swivel segments ensure easy access to the release levers and simultaneously realise easy leg positioning.
Tool kit
The tool kit performs minor adjustments and maintenance tasks directly on-site when required.
Back upholstery
For optimum adaptability of the seating position, the back upholstery is provided with adjustable hook-and-loop straps.
