Stimulite® Slimline Cushion
The perfect cushion for active people and those at lower risk for decubitus ulcers, the ventilated, 2-3/4-inch thick, double-layered Stimulite Slimline cushion is designed with a low profile and weighs only 3 pounds. Adductors, abductors, and rear dishes form a subtle contour for optimal comfort and support.
Stimulite® Slimline XS Cushion
It is designed with a mild contour and low profile for active people.
The ventilated Stimulite Slimline XS cushion features a soft top layer of specially engineered honeycomb fused to a bottom layer with sensitive skin. The compliant honeycomb cells contour to the body shape, enabling bony protuberances to sink into the cushion while supporting the surrounding anatomy freely. Light and comfortable, the Stimulite Slimline XS cushion is 2.75 inches thick and weighs only 3 pounds.
Special cuts are available. Machine washable. Tumble dryer safe.
What does a Stimulite Sling cushion mean?
The Stimulite™ Honeycomb Cushion (flat bottom) is designed for tensioned nylon sling chairs that sling only slightly. The Stimulite Sling Cushion (shaped bottom) is designed for high sling vinyl-type wheelchairs. This cushion is the same as the regular Stimulite cushion, except it has a shaped base. This shaped base neutralises the chair sling and eliminates the need to place a board or other rigid material on top of the sling.
Stimulite Sling Cushion
The Stimulite Sling Cushion is designed to address the challenges of using wheelchairs with sling seating. These seats often lack rigidity, causing uneven weight distribution and reduced support.
- Flat Bottom Design: For nylon sling chairs with slight tension.
- Shaped Bottom Design: For high-sling vinyl wheelchairs, featuring a contoured base that neutralises the sagging effect of the sling. This eliminates the need for additional rigid supports, like boards.
Both versions retain the pressure relief, ventilation, and durability benefits of standard Stimulite cushions, making them an excellent choice for users seeking comfort and support in sling-seated wheelchairs.
Stimulite XS Cushions (Extra Sensitive)
The Stimulite XS Cushion Series is tailored for individuals with sensitive skin, offering enhanced comfort and protection through a softer top layer of honeycomb. The cushion conforms to the body, minimising pressure and preventing tissue trauma.
